Does anything comes in close to those days? Yeah, College days were very interesting with the air of freedom, and real wild fights, and close friends and partying night outs..but the days under the "Chatra-Chaya" of "Naani" had its own charm, one which is absolutely not comparable...

Tiffin Sessions in the back-field, cricket matches, Sanu marking names of those who spoke in Bengali etc. , Nani's cruel punishments and caning, Silly,unreasonable Computer classes, Library Sessions with books by Enid Blyton,Sir Moni's and Ajay's P.T.Classes, Bulletin Boards, March Past, Suchismita Gupta's classes, Sir Chakravarty's "Advanced" Mathematics,
Sister Titus' "saliva-soaked" Social Studies, Shamik's weird pranks, Shamshad's beating up BKT, the confusing controversies,Sanu's affair/s, Chira,Hostel girls and boys speaking in the thick Khasi accent, Jahirul imitating them( Miss , Miss Himadri wants Makrina , Melina and Veronica),Sports week, Sir Moni lifting up unconscious girls in the assembly during the National Anthem...

Sanu's school song ( unplugged version , Sanskaar TV Spl mix ), Madam Debanjana(where is she?), Ma'am Dasgupta's biology classes( skipping of vital chapters), Marwari Batch(are they married yet?),Hindi -Bengali-Assamese classroom shifting , Unnecessary Elementary Subjects,Cricket Balls getting lost in the back field due to sixers getting hit,Blue,Red,Green and Yellow Houses..last heard it had been renamed to something weird,Abhishek Jain's physique(shouldn't make fun of him though) and TT,Cheera-juta, Jyoti Club Quizzes

Abha Orhi teaching Moral Science,weirdo Work-Experience with dry-stem and plaster of paris,Teacher's day rehearsals,and of course..the open-air("bloom bloom")Farewell..

..and I did it again.Not bad eh! with the names, yeah forgot a few, but not bad that I could name most of them at one go after so many days,..its been around 7 years(almost) since I left school..I want to visit my school campus now..not possible..I remember last time I visited when I was doing my engineering and Jaydeep had come down from Calcutta..just random obscure visit..school ke sabhi bacchhe bade ho gaye..one of the kids called Jaydeep Uncle..we felt old(sob!).

I miss my school.Holy Cross School rocks, and more than that, the batch of ours, the batch of '99 rocks.
